My thoughts go back more then 4 decades to when I met Holly in a USY trip to Israel . We have kept in touch all these years and I was there when she was married and stayed at her home so many times through the years . Having no children of my own I loved being around hers as she had five wonderful beautiful gifts. I am so sorry for this day and I know how much Erica was loved and later began to know the talent she was given . Her memory keeps her alive always and May her son Quinton always know he had a special mom and extended family. God be with you all . Love your dear friend .Debra

I am saddened to hear of the passing of my dear friend, Erica z”l. Throughout the years, we shared so many wonderful occasions together. I will always remember her welcoming nature, her remarkable artistic talent, and most of all her love for her little son, Quintin. May her memory be for a blessing….

Erica was a friend both in community life and work life. She was an inspiration for my daughter, who is also an artist. I remember vividly taking my son to paint alongside Qunitin and other young children at a Jewish community event. While the kids painted different scenes with various levels of proficiency, I remember Erica grabbing a block and taking everyone’s breath away by painting this amazing sunset scene. My last contact with Erica was to congratulate her for a photograph she took that we saw exhibited as part of an exhibition in the local museum. Smart, talented, vivacious – her light burned bright and was extinguished too soon.

I have a few, but when we lost our dog Max, we asked Erica to paint a portrait. It is the most amazing painting down to the whiskers. I will miss her forever.
Love you sweet girl

I have the most vivid memory of Erica standing at the counter at the Lincolnwood House, flipping through a magazine of some type, eating what I remember to be a Bialy. Chelsea, Erica, and I were talking and I don’t remember the details but I remember we were cracking up because Erica said something charming and witty, per her usual. I also loved her Inktober posts and looked at them often. It’s just incredible to be able to see the world through her eyes in the form of her beautiful artwork. She will be so incredibly missed. All My Love,
